Vtg 1950's-60's Columbia Bicycle

Bicycles were a lot simpler when this item was made. You needed to make a girl's bike suitable for a boy, you bought a converter bar that would fit. All the better if you had the same color. Well here is a very cool converter bar by Columbia that is new in the original box. Maybe some ebayer has just the bike this piece needs, or a collection of old bike parts is in the works. Whatever, check this beauty out.

It's in great condition, no apologies necessary for that aspect. The box is a bit beat up but all text and images on it are entirely legible. See the pics they tell the story about this item.

The converter bar is 19" long. The rings that attach to the seat pole and the steering pole are only about 1" across,  and not perfectly round. I'm no expert in this genre of item, so be sure you'd be trying to convert a Columbia bicycle as the box says, '59 or later. There's no returns on this item, please be sure of what you're needing if a bike converting is in the works when considering buying this converter bar. See the statement below also.
